Containers for Fish
Big plastic containers sit along the River Walk behind the fish packing plant. The rails on the right are for the Riverfront Trolley, not for shipping the containers. They are shipped out by truck; the truck dock is on the other side of the block. I've been meaning to post a photo, so maybe I'll get to it in the next few days. The red building on the far right is Pier 11, which houses a couple of restaurants and some shops.

These plastic containers are a lot bigger than the standard ones used in factories all over Asia. Probably because ours are hand carried... I don't imagine Americans would even try to lift anything over the union-prescribed 50 lbs... ;-)
I agree with Francisca. Ours are much, much smaller.
In Brittany, they are blue and white and belong to the local Industry and Commerce chambers. I once stole one on a beach, it was in a very sorry state, it took me ages to clean it. It's now in my home, full of shells and pebbles. But I could actually get prosecuted for having it, or so it says on it!
