Today's reflection on the river is not as elegant as
Saturday's reflection (the photos taken on the same day), but I do like what the water did to the light-colored object in question. Can you guess what it is? I won't make you wait. It's just a power pole, and it's completely transformed. For some reason there were spots of oily stuff on the water that day, which is unusual here.

I thought it a giant "mantis"!
The oil unfortunately makes the photo even better.
I would never in a million years guess that to be a pole, not even a reflection! To me it looked like thick yellow fluid, yellow oil, floating on the water.
could it be a shadow of doubt? from beyond?
I never would have guessed a power pole.
It does make a really interesting photo. I also like the oil effect.
What a wonderful surrealistic photo! I never would have guessed it was a light pole.
