A city of bollards, a haven for the gulls. Interesting light and the deeply furrowed poles have a lot of character.
This gives new meaning to the color description - mossy green! I'll bet those pilings are sleek and slimy. Doesn't seem to bother the gulls, though!
the detail tells a lot about Astoria. 145 days a year of rain and the rest of the time damp...
