That's right, folks. We did not make this up for Halloween. It sits right in one of Astoria's hilly residential neighborhoods all year round! I know a lot of you out there have stories about this place. . . .

The house seems to be fantastic. Great photo for this day!
A must driveby nearly every time i am in Astoria. Especially at twilight or after dark. Yikes
I met er and son Harry in 1973 but that's it. Contact John G. He has akey I think and knows the entire history.
Would be great to get the stories. Otherwise it would seem to be rather a nice house, if only it got a new coat of paint. I bet the view from there is awesome.
Ah, it's a real winner for scary, spooky! Great choice, Sheryl. Love your town by the sea anytime. When crossing the bridge into Astoria, especially on a foggy day, it sometimes feels like entering a mini San Francisco. :)
It's quite easy to believe this!
That's a Hitchcock house!
Re. the photos: I've lost all my photos of Andalucia, South of France, all of my first winter trip to the PNW, most of those of Rome... They were all on CDROMs. Now I keep everything on an external hard drive PLUS on USB flash drives. You just don't know how p***** off I am.
BTW, how is Lee? He's commenting so... :-)
In serious need of restoration.
Sad to see this house going to ruin. But I bet there are some good stories!
