Here's one of Astoria's delightful
Craftsman style homes along with a tiny hillside garage so typical of this place. I love the Craftsman
bungalows as much as the Victorians, and we have quite a few of them here. This one is on the Bond Street hill. (I had no idea until I looked it up that "bungalow" comes from "Bengali.")

Nice place - we have many such in the Dandenongs. Funny how people's idea of "bungalow" differ. In Australia, a bungalow is a small building in the back yard which can double (sometimes) as an extra bedroom. Most would have a light switch. No bath or cooking facilities though.

I always think 'small cottage' when I hear 'bungalow'. Don't know why, that's just what I've always pictured!
Looks like someone has some issues with invasive plants? Looks like ivy and Himalayan blackberries are taking over a bit?
I do love the green though!
We have several similar houses covered in green with the garage at the bottom of the hill. MB
I have no idea either, nice with a lot of green around.
