River Walk near the Safeway Store

It seems we're in for some clear weather Saturday, and in case we've forgotten, here's a reminder of what a blue-sky day looks like - this one with strikingly pretty clouds. For non-Astorians, this is the track used by the Astoria Riverfront Trolley. The bench is a nice place to sit just next to the trolley stop, although soon much of the view will be obscured by leaves. Green is just around the corner.

I can imagine that when spring springs in Astoria it is about as pretty a sight as can be seen anywhere!
I'd be in Safeways.
I have seen a place like this around here (without the rails) but can't remember where.
Nice shot and is is nice to see blue skies occasionally. Yesterday and today although yesterday morning it snowed and the the wind came out of the west and blew all the clouds up in the mountains. And we saw the sun and blur skies. I posted a pic og similar clous as yours on my day4plus blog.
It is had to find info about some tugs. I researched the Gleaner awhile back and there were several gleaners and they changed names and back again. Made my head spin. MB
It was a wonderful day here in the northwest. You really did have a blue sky didn't you. I hope you were able to get out and enjoy it.
