After A Storm
I still remember how I felt when I noticed this cloud over the trees in Warrenton almost a year ago. I'd gone to the gym in the shopping center, and next to pavement is a large expanse of marsh with a few trees in it. I hadn't expected to see much other than gray that day, so I was surprised when the sun burst through, and that's when I took the photo. We've had a few beautiful days, or parts of days, this year, but not so many. I'm not really REALLY complaining about the rain and cold, but I do love colors, and I'm waiting to dig in the small garden patch until it stops pouring and warms up.

Isn't it strange how a photo makes us remember a day?
It's cold, cold, cold here but I have started planting on the windowsills, in the hope that it won't be too frosty at night.
Your recipe is up!
The cold and gray
is here to stay!!
Mt. rainier is trying to peek out under the gray and I hope she will before the clouds cover her again. I posted a pic I took this morning--on my day4plus blog.
2 evenings ago at sunset time the sun peeked through a break in the clouds and since it was raining there was a beautiful rainbow---so you know good things will happen. MB
I understand the mood. We just had a beautiful day, one of very few lately, and I took a lot of pictures.
You have to admit that sun really lit things up!
quite an unusual cloud.like a boomerang. Never get tired at looking at beautiful sky and cloud pix.
Strange, our growing season has ended as yours begins.
It seems like lately the sun comes out just long enough to tease us, then boom the rain starts falling again. I think we're all ready for a little more sun.
Very nice shot Sheryl!
