A Pile of Pallets and Crumbling Concrete

Pallets and Crumbling Concrete Along the Riverfront, Astoria, Oregon
June 22, 2009

There are many types of scenery along Astoria's River Walk. I took this on a day that was drier and less overcast than it's been for most of the week.

I'm curious what the traps are for. Here, they are used for lobster and Stone Crabs.

Thanks for visiting. I really enjoy the overall nautical theme of your pictures. The nautical museum in town is one of my favorite stops whenever we're in your corner of the state.

I like the moss on the concrete and rocks. Boy, that is some pile of pallets.

Quite a strange catch! A pile of pallet sounds a bit like a bunch of benches...

Sheryl,
This is one of my favorite spots to take pictures of ships coming up and going down the river. The bridge makes a nice background shot.
