Motorcycle mailbox

B SQUARED always finds the creative, funky mailboxes, so I guess this photo is to show that we have at least one in Astoria. I'm sure there must be a few more. I'll keep my eyes open and my camera handy. If I remember, this one is on 16th Street around Franklin Avenue.

That's pretty funky...for Astoria! And it's not all that attractive...so what would possess someone to put it up?

I dunno! Maybe a transplant from Ft. Lauderdale?

It looks as though the bike had seen better days. I wonder if that was all that was left of it.

Also you're right Sheryl. Funky is a perfect word for it.

I like it... but it seems like a work in progress to me. I'd be tempted to do an overall funky paint job on it. As it is, the box and the cool bike post don't fit for me.
