Trim

Victorian details on a house in Astoria, Oregon Astoria, Oregon ~ June 14, 2009

Here's some more gray-day Astoria architecture - on 14th Street, I believe. Isn't the trim wonderful? I think I could take a photo of every building in town and find something unique and interesting about it. That would be a project, wouldn't it?

Somebody won a lot of trophies. I don't know the story.

I love old victorian houses..yes, the details are lovely! It's just the time and creativity needed to work on it..;) Someone is lucky.

Maybe you should take up that project - in your spare time, of course! This is great architecture but I'm not surprised 'cause Astoria's full of such.

The trophies remind me of my partner-in-life, Lois Anne, who has over 50 running trophies somewhere around here...plus medals and plaques and other stuff...pretty amazing, seeing as how she didn't start running until she was in her 60s!

Sorry 'bout that; just couldn't help brag a bit!

I would take this project on in a heartbeat. I never stop hoping that one of these days the right one will come along.

It's a pity that this beautiful house is in such poor contitions.

Do you think Lee will allow me to post his picture on the exotic bench? Obviously with full credits to him and his blog.
