Dumpster Painting by Diane Beeston
I featured this dumpster along the River Walk in an earlier post, and it shows the decorated trash recepticle from its other side. Recently I found these shots in my archives. The caption of the older post is even more poignant today, and it's not only the dumpster that's gone, but also the buildings and access to the pier.

Aww, that's very sad! All those pretty, quaint buildings gone?
That was my fav all time dumpster, I do wonder where it went, I have pics of it as well.
I sure hope we may be able to access the viewing tower some day soon.
It's a nice dumpster...
:)
I get really bummed when I return to something I wanted to photograph only to discover it's gone. I try to use that to motivate me to take the picture NOW :-)
I like that they painted it so brightly instead of trying to make it disappear.
This is the funniest dumpster ever!
There are so many new city daily photo sites, it is always nice to visit one of the "long timers." Love the dumpster. Art is everywhere; you just have to look.
opportunity for artistic expression in so many new places. Sure brightened up the town.
This is a dumpster with a sense of humor... and we could all use more of that in our lives. So who, I wonder, is the grouch that removed it? ;-)
So cool!
Too sad. Was all of this removed b/c of that fire??
that's a great way to make art out of the practical. nice capture.
