Astoria, Oregon ~ November 22, 2011
For a couple of years (seems like, anyway) this lovely old Victorian on Harrison Street has been under exterior renovation. I noticed yesterday that it is now free of scaffolding and the old gray paint has been replaced with a whole new scheme. This could be Part 2 in a series of pumpkins between holidays. See yesterday's post here if you missed it.

Great color scheme and attention to detail. Looks like a late 1800s house. The grass is very lush there still as it is here in Quincy. Happy Thanksgiving!
Looks good. Especially with the pumpkins. Happy Thanksgiving.
I love this color! makes us comfortable and we feel their good sense of color combination!
Beautiful, old victorian... love that!
I like to see the changes in places like this. I don't personally like that shade of green, but I'm sure it's better than what was there before. Glad that someone is restoring this beauty in any case.
As lovely as this house is, the family that lived there for years was even lovlier. It was the "Thiel" home, and Dennie was a music store owner who gave much to the community. I think he was a trumpet player but my memory is failing me. His death was sudden from an illness and unexpected and it was a shock to us all
