The Pilot's Ladder
Professional cameraman and photographer Jeff Daly has created an amazing tribute to Columbia River pilots through an interesting art display called Wood and Rope. The photographs are displayed on actual ladders used by the pilots as they transfer to the large ships. The display is in the commons area of the 14th Street Pilot Station located on the River Walk at the end of 14th.

This is a picture from last year at the Skipanon Brand Seafood booth. You can still find Skipanon here at the Market every Sunday but this picture of the kids checking out the crawfish is among my favorites.
