Bonus Photo! This is from the Schermerhorn family and what they see from their window. The star of the image is Hamilton the pig. I confess, this photo is a bit of self-indulgence because I fostered Hamilton for a month or so prior to the Schermerhorn's adopting him. The original family who owned Hamilton loved him dearly but were in transition. He now has a wonderful home with a couple of goat buddies, chickens and ducks to keep him company. For those not familiar with the coast, Seaside is only about 20 miles or so south of Astoria.
