Astoria, Oregon ~ March 12, 2011
Flowers are starting to "spring" up all over town. There are yellow daffodils, and the azaleas are starting to bloom. I found this bush of beautiful deep pink camelias on the way to Western Oregon Waste ("WOW"), where I was recycling the printer that broke last weekend. Sorry about the colors being faded - it's been either drizzling or pouring all week.

Isn't it just soooo lovely? :-)
Beautiful camelias!
You spring signs in vegetation is ahead of ours here in Bucharest. Only yesterday I spotted the first tiny signs of branches sprouting (or whatever that is called). We had a glorious warm weekend, but then it turned gray and wet and much colder again.
Things are blooming everywhere here right now. Even saw a ton of California Poppies today!
I think I missed this. Camelias are a pretty flower. Ours, for some reason, always looked rather anemic. Maybe it's too hot here.
