The Dirty D! Another iconic night spot in Astoria with an illicit past of shanghaiing young men through trap doors that dropped them into waiting boats below. At one time the Dirty D was waterfront property before the highway evolved around it.

Barbey Maritime Center
These are the refurbished windows of the old train station that stood in neglect for many years. Owned by the Columbia River Maritime Museum, they recently completed a long-time restoration project of this magnificent building.
