Not sure when this was taken but it was taken from the top of the column. Astoria is my home now and may be for years to come but on this day we celebrate a new year with the ones we love and care for. I hope you all had a nice and safe New Years. Mine was wonderful. I spent it with my family watching movies and hanging out on the couch. This picture has detail beyond your imagination, but that is not why I like it. I like it because no matter how you look at it, there is something for everybody to look at and enjoy. I hope you enjoy the picture.

Holiday Inn Express

Taken today; December 29, 2012. In the background of this picture is the street that going toward down town Astoria. The building to the left is the Holiday Inn Express. Toward the foreground of the picture is a nice little park that I like walking by to get to downtown Astoria. A couple minutes before I took this picture, it was raining. I love how the sky looks after it rains. Part of the sky is dark grey and it descends into a nice blue or white.
