Early Spring

Today our guest photographer, Jessika, walked up 16th Street from the River Walk to Clatsop Community College. Along the way she found this gorgeous pink rhododendron that decided to open although it's only the middle of February.

    A lovely flower. Your weather must have been warmer than usual, too. We had things blooming and turning green and then got two nights of a hard freeze which set us back a bit!

    Really amazing when you think they usually bloom in the middle of May. I guess it raises the question whether you'd rather be an early bloomer or a late bloomer?
