Things found in a shipyard

I should have measured the links of this chain in the port docks, but I didn't. Suffice it to say, they are big!

I'll be sure to measure them next time. In the background are the masts of the Lady Washington. This photo and this one were also taken in the port docks.

  1. Never thought about it before, but I guess the chains would have to be powerfully big! The rust adds a nice color contrast to the photo as well.

  5. Living on a port city is such a lifestyle. Your pictures reflect life on the water perfectly. I'll bet those links are 10 inches long.

  6. Lady Washington apart, you could have taken these pictures here. Our chains are less rusty and colorful, but come in many size. You gave me another idea for a post...
