Young's Bay Bridge, Evening Gray

Astoria, Oregon ~ November 12, 2009

Typical winter colors around here, although taken a couple of years ago. Young's Bay blends with the 4-mile-wide Columbia River somewhere in the right-hand side of this photo.

  1. There is certainly some color trying to pierce through the cloud layer...but in spite of "typical winter colors" it is a beautiful panorama. I don't think I've seen that bridge from such a viewpoint before. Gives one an entirely new perspective!

  2. It's a beautiful soft and clear evening shot of Young's Bay Bridge and Columbia River, Sheryl. Just goes to show how a little pink in the sky can make a gray winter scene appealing.
