Seagull City

Seagull City July 24, 2010

Now that we're having a few days of winter-like rains, it's nice to look back at the blues and greens of July. I took this photo from the River Walk near 15th Street.

    I love the mossy beams here. Really makes the gulls stand out.

    A city of bollards, a haven for the gulls. Interesting light and the deeply furrowed poles have a lot of character.

    This gives new meaning to the color description - mossy green! I'll bet those pilings are sleek and slimy. Doesn't seem to bother the gulls, though!
