Great choice for the briight colors theme. For some reason, fishermen painted the hullls of their boats in bright, primary colors, and that tradition has certainly carried ove to this ship.
On our www.VivalaVoyage.com website today, we have photos of Burano, Italy, a fishing village where fishermaen painted their houses to match their boats, making a very colorful tourist attraction out of what would have been a very plain village.
Wonder why they called it like that!

ReplyDeleteIt sure is a well-named ship. I like to watch the ocean going ships that come down the river to dock, usually in Portland. They fascinate me.
